In this paper, we propose a novel full-bridge (FB) diode-clamped four-level symmetric switching converter. Multi-neighboring reference vector discontinuous PWM (MNRV DPWM) for FB topology was implemented through half-bridge (HB)-based control using an offset voltage addition method. A symmetrical circuit with pulse-amplitude modulation (PAM) proposed and its working principle explained in detail. Voltage gain, duty loss factor, zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) condition were derived by analyzing the steady-state operating characteristics of The required input output capacitance values also calculated explicitly. voltages across series-connected DC-link capacitors well balanced controlled simple linear manner PAM. method has advantage reducing circulating current compared to existing phase-shift because there is additional powering period. effectiveness converter verified simulation prototype experiments. power conversion efficiency exceeded 91.44% at ( PO ) 250W or higher, peak 95.23% achieved =750W.
